New BÜHLMANN Quantum Blue® Reader

BÜHLMANN launched the first generation of the BÜHLMANN Quantum Blue® Reader over 10 years ago and has grown its assay portfolio ever since. The Quantum Blue® fCAL assays in combination with the CALEX® Cap extraction tube represents the easiest solution to measure fecal calprotectin. Over the years fCAL has been established as the best surrogate maker to diagnose and monitor Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The Quantum Blue® Reader has brought these assays closer to the patients. With the addition of the therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) assays, the Quantum Blue® portfolio has become an indispensable tool for a complete monitoring of IBD patients. The TDM assay range brings the Quantum Blue® portfolio to therapeutic fields beyond Inflammatory Bowel Disease, like Rheumatoid Arthritis. BÜHLMANN’s goal is to provide reliable and state of the art in vitro diagnostic technology to support laboratories and clinicians world-wide.

We are proud to present to you the newest version of the Quantum Blue® Reader!

The 3rd generation Quantum Blue® Reader presents a state-of-the-art lateral flow reader. The touch screen display together with an intuitive graphic user interface allows quick navigation and easy step-by-step tutorial screens. The camera-based reading technology increases robustness of result analysis even further than the previous Quantum Blue® Readers. The Lot specific calibration curve and other parameters are uploaded via a barcode card directly by the system camera. Connectivity of the reader via ethernet port enables connecting the device to laboratory and hospital information systems. The new Quantum Blue® Reader is the logical next step to support BÜHLMANNs existing Quantum Blue® assays and future-proof new assays in development.
